Helene A. Clark

Helene Clark, 79, of Warners, passed away Thursday, March 19 at Iroquois Nursing Home, surrounded by family. Helene retired from Penn Traffic after 25 years.  She enjoyed the outdoors, bus trips to the casino, bird watching and gardening. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Richard; son, Richard Clark Jr. of Annapolis, MD; daughters, Kathy (John) Salati of Baldwinsville, Sheila (David) DeRose of Lakeland and Michele Phillips of Camillus; sister, Lillian Smith of Camillus; grandchildren, Daniel (Victoria) Salati, Erin Salati, Zachary DeRose, Cpl. Jacob (Aracely) DeRose, Olivia, Simon and Gwenyth Clark, and Holden Phillips; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff on the 4th floor of the Iroquois Nursing Home for the outstanding care of their mother for the past year. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 23 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Upstate Parkinson's Disease Fund, 750 E.
