Helen (Vodek) Crossett, 83, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Loretto. Born in Oswego and raised in Warners, she graduated from Warners High School. Helen was in the restaurant business for 50 years and owned several restaurants with her husband. She enjoyed traveling to NYC, Spain, Ireland and Aruba and especially loved spending weekends at Fair Haven. Helen also enjoyed reading and singing, but above all, loved spending time with family. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, William Ward Crossett III, in 2009.
Surviving are her sons, William (Susan) of Fayetteville, Kevin (Carol) of Camillus, Shawn (Nancy) of Baldwinsville, Darren (Diane) of Charlottesville, VA and Peter (Gwen) of Fayetteville; sister, Joan (David) Vodek of Camillus; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will follow at noon in the church. Helen will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
