Helen Kudlick, 90, daughter of Andrew and Tekla Kudlick, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at home. Born on Tuesday, March 28, 1922, she was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and retired from Scientific Glass. Throughout her life family was very important to her. A warm, thoughtful, caring and loving sister and aunt, Helen cherished her family and enjoyed keeping up with all of their activities. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Helen was predeceased by her brothers, John and Metro Krull, Joseph, Michael and Stephen Kudlick; and sister, Mary Hoefer. Surviving are her sister, Sister M. Antonia Kudlick, MSMG of Stamford, Connecticut; sister-in-law, Joyce Kudlick; and brother-in-law, Stephen Hoefer, both of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, October 12 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, where the Divine Liturgy for the Deceased will be celebrated. Helen will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sister M.
