Helen (Krupinski) Nowodworski
January 27, 1930 — December 25, 2020
Helen (Krupinski) Nowodworski, 90, of Geddes, passed away Friday at home, surrounded by her loving family. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she graduated from Central Tech High School. Helen worked for Freeman’s as a cashier and later on for Van Duyn Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide. A former member of the Happy Hearts, she loved to crochet, was an avid reader, and enjoyed being an old-time movie buff. Above all, Helen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Edwin, in 2009; four sisters and two brothers.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Cynthia of Onondaga Hill and Gerette Nicotra of Geddes; sons, David (Yvonne) of Hastings and Michael of Geddes; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Irene Contos of Syracuse; and many nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private for family.
