Helen Brim

Helen Brim, 86, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Camillus for 62 years. Helen was a graduate of Syracuse Central High School. She worked for Dr. Donald Grover as a registered nurse for 21 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church and served on the board of directors for Alumni of Syracuse General Hospital. Helen was a happy, caring and confident nurse, wife, mother and grandmother.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, James, in 2017.

Surviving are her sons, Scott (Shelley) of Jordan and Thomas of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Chris of Elbridge, Corey of Jordan, Casey of Jordan, Daniel of Fayetteville and Samantha of Syracuse; and great-granddaughters, Ellie and Grace of Elbridge and Livie and Lexi of Jordan.

Services will be private at this time. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Helen will be laid to rest in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Centers of St. Camillus for their loving care and compassion given to Helen.
