Hang Thi Tran, 74, of Geddes, passed away Friday at University Hospital. Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, she lived in Saigon and moved to the U.S. in 1982. Hang attended OCC and worked as a case manager for the Refugee Assistant Program here in Syracuse. She enjoyed cooking, the outdoors and traveling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Hang is survived by her husband of 52 years, Canh; daughter, Loan (Nhan) of Cicero; sons, Hung (Kristina) of Liverpool, Tam (Paula) of Camillus and Chau of Syracuse; seven grandchildren; brothers, Tan, Hau and Chanh; sisters, Tien, Nu and Nga; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
