Grace Elizabeth Moskal, 90, of Syracuse, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Birchwood Health Care Center. Born in Quaker Springs, Saratoga County, on Friday, November 24, 1916, she was the daughter of Willard Munger Russell and Nellie Gertrude Bennett. She lived in Syracuse for 66 years. Grace graduated from Good Shepherd Hospital as a registered nurse and was employed by St. Joseph's Hospital for 23 years. She was a member of Erwin First United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution, General ASA Danforth Ch. Grace enjoyed reading and the Bible was very important to her. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Stephen; daughters, Jeanne Moskal of Syracuse and Susan (Charles) Zawacki of Camillus; sons, William (Irene) of Jordan, James (Loretta) of Siloam Spring, Arkansas and Dave (Barbara) of Syracuse; sister, Dorothy Stiles of Florence, Oregon; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Friends may call Thursday, November 30, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Birchwood Health Care Center, Inc. Resident Benefit Fund, 4800 Bear Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088.
