Gloria R. Renkert, 88, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at University Hospital. Born and raised in Nunda, she lived in Rochester and then retired to Sodus Bay before moving to the Syracuse area. Gloria graduated from Nunda High School and earned her associate degree from Rochester Business Institute. She was employed with Eastman Kodak for over 20 years. An avid golfer, Gloria was a member of Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. She spent winters in St. Augustine, FL and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 2007; parents, Burdette and Anna Russell; and brother, Dale Russell.
Surviving are her daughter, Gayle (Bill) Milham of Syracuse; stepdaughters, Myrna Renkert-Rose of Vero Beach, FL and Teri Weber of Buffalo; stepson, Richard (Janet) Renkert of Rochester; grandchildren, Justin and Jason Renkert, Heather Weber, and Brandon and Julia Milham; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and Grandma Gloria to the Milham family.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, April 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Face coverings are required.
