Glenn Orlando Sherwood, 90, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Born in Elmira, he lived most of his life in the Syracuse area. Glenn was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He earned his bachelor's degree from Ithaca College and was employed with General Electric Co. for 34 years before retiring in 1991. Glenn was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed history, especially WWII.
Glenn was predeceased by his wife, Georgina "Jean” in 2009; and siblings, Betty Spencer, Helen Pierce and Charles Sherwood.
Surviving are his daughter, Glenda Sherwood; sons, Brett (Nancy) and Matt (Laura); grandchildren, Nicholas (Dalia) Cross, Shannon Sherwood and Brandon Sherwood; great-grandchildren, Nadia and Aidan Cross and Declan Sherwood; former son-in-law, Vernon Roberson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Glenn will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
