Giji Abraham

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Giji Abraham, who left us on Thursday at the age of 49. Born on March 4, 1975, in Ranni, India, he spent his early years surrounded by the warmth of family and community before embarking on a new journey in Toronto, Canada, in 2010. In 2021, he made Camillus his home, embracing new friendships and opportunities.

Giji was a dedicated salesman at Sana Distributors in Toronto, known for his hard work, kindness, and ability to connect with people. His warm spirit, unwavering optimism, and infectious laughter touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Premelia Thomas; daughters, Taria and Ruhah Abraham; parents, PK and Lelamma Abraham; sister, Jaymol (Biju) Abraham; and brothers, James (Lissy) and Jaike (Libina) Abraham.

To honor Giji’s life, a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Giji will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
