Geraldine "Gerry" Kuhl

Geraldine Gerry Kuhl, 77, of Baldwinsville, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was born on Thursday, January 8, 1931, the daughter of Carl L. Myrto and Priscilla C. Rich Myrto. She was a former communicant of St. Michael's Church on Onondaga Hill and current communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Baldwinsville. She was an avid bowler. Gerry was predeceased by her brother, Carl L. Myrto Jr. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Donald Joseph Kuhl; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Kent Thayer of Broomfield, Colorado; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Nancy Kuhl of Fayetteville and David M. Kuhl of Oswego; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Patricia Myrto of Horseshoe, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelley, Stephen, Ian, David, Lori and Jenny and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church where Rev. John S. Finnegan will celebrate a funeral Mass. Friends may call Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
