Genevieve Marie Duszak, 90, of Solvay, passed away Saturday at Francis House. Born in Baldwinsville, she was a lifetime resident of the Warners area. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Street School. Genevieve was an assembler at Anaren Microwave, Inc. for over 20 years, retiring in 1994. A communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Lakeland, she was a member of the Red Hat Society. Genevieve enjoyed playing Bingo and knitting afghans, sweaters, and Christmas stockings. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Genevieve was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Jr.; son, Joseph R. "Skip" III; and parents, Albert and Ethel Mead.
Surviving are her sons, Donald (Sharon) of Solvay and Lawrence (Nancy) of Warners; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Genevieve will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
