Frank S. Locurcio, 94, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place. Frank was loving and kind, with a fantastic sense of humor. Born in Buffalo, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1949. In 1953, he and his new bride Angie moved to Syracuse for a position with AMF Bowling Products. In 1962, the couple moved to Camillus, where they raised their five children and lived for over 50 years. Frank worked for Carrier Corp. as an electrician in the Research Department for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
A communicant and lector at Holy Family Church, he was also a volunteer with the food pantry and member of the Bible Study Group and Holy Family Senior Group. Frank was an avid golfer and bowler and could fix just about anything. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Frank was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Angeline (Rizzo); son, Michael; parents, Ralph and Domenica; sister, Mary; and brothers, Larry, Pete and Joe.
Surviving are his daughters, Donna (Deacon Nick) Alvaro of Syracuse and Michele (Eric) Moyer of Belmont, CA; sons, Mark (Lois) of Phoenix, NY and Steven of Florida; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Tony) Pistorio of Clarence; brothers, Ralph (Concetta) of Grand Island, John (Diane) of Kenmore, and Steven of Tonawanda; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, May 15 from noon to 1 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse.
A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church.
Entombment will be on Monday, May 16 at 10 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
