Frank Kucharski, 90, of Syracuse, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Francis House. Born in Rochester on Friday, September 15, 1916, he was the son of Michael Kucharski and Justina Nabor Kucharski. He lived most of his life in Syracuse. Frank was an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed for 28 years with Acme Supermarkets, retiring in 1978. A communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frank also was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Surviving are his sisters, Anne Sturick of Syracuse, Sue Bajish of Westvale, Josephine Vassenelli of Syracuse and Stella Walker of Camillus. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated. Friends may call Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Panakhyda service at 6 p.m. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
