Francis “Tim” Flood, 74, of Fairmount, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. Born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, he moved to Fairmount in 1947. Tim was a 1964 graduate of Eastwood High School. He was employed with Teamsters Local 317 for over 35 years before retiring in 2007, and also delivered flowers for Sam Rao Florist for over five years. A communicant of Holy Family Church, Tim was also a member of the retirees of Teamsters Local 317. He enjoyed restoring his antique truck, working outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Josephine “Joy” Sunser; son, Jason (Ross Mothersell) of Fulton; sisters, Gloria Friers of Wisconsin and Christina (Michael) Cackett of Syracuse; brother, Jerry of Clay; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, December 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at noon at the funeral home and 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Tim will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
