Frances V. “Francine” Fatcheric, 89, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse on Sunday, March 28, 1920, she was the daughter of Peter Pigula and Anna Haliczko Pigula. She lived in Camillus since 1954. Francine was a graduate of Powelson Business Institute and the M. Louis Hair Institute in New York City. She worked as a hairstylist for 40 years with Edward's and Addis's and also in her home. Francine was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She enjoyed sewing and baking, especially pies. Surviving are her son, James Mento of Camillus; grandchildren, Jody, Jimmy, Jennifer, Rebecca and Joseph; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10:30 a.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. preceding the funeral. Francine will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
