Frances T. (Pullano) Tienken, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home. Born and raised in Syracuse and Camillus, she was employed part-time for 15 years with Dey Bros. She was a 54-year member and past president of the Fairmount Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and also of the Onondaga County Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary.
Frances was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred, in 2018; parents, Louis R. Pullano and Theodora “Dotty” Pullano; and sister, Theodora “Teddy” DiBiase.
Frances leaves behind her son, A. Gregory Tienken II of Syracuse; daughters, Cynthia L. Grupe (John Shultz) of Climax and Geraldine A. (Dwayne) Belt of Potsdam; sister, Louise R. Beaubiah of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nepehws.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, December 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family Church. Frances will be laid to rest in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Syracuse.
