Florence Wruck, 85, of Liverpool, formerly of Camillus, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at ElderWood Health Care at Birchwood. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she lived in Camillus for many years. Florence was employed with the Department of Urban Renewal for more than 20 years. Upon retirement, she worked at Crucible Steel. Florence was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and member of its Altar & Rosary Society. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Tuscarora and Westvale golf clubs and also enjoyed gardening. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Florence was predeceased by her husband, George, in 2003; and sister, Loretta Naylor.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane (Al) Guglielmo of Baldwinsville; sons, William (Elizabeth) of Centreville, VA and James (Mary) of San Pablo, CA; brother, Stanley Perkosky of Johnson City; grandchildren, Stephen Guglielmo, Kathryn Guglielmo, Harrison Wruck, Libby Wruck and Emma Wruck; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in the church. Florence will be laid to rest in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
