Florence J. Karasinski, 88, of Camillus died Monday, August 14, 2006 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Saturday, October 20, 1917, she was the daughter of Frank Sojka and Josephine Janasiewicz. She lived in Camillus since 1955. Florence was a waitress for Cottage Bake Shop for 30 years and also for Schraffts Restaurant. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Florence was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Anthony Karasinski (1990), daughter, Linda Urciuoli (2001) and sisters, Lottie Kazel and Stella Henry. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Frank Fiello of Syracuse; sister, Clara Callahan of Baldwinsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Ann Sykes of Syracuse and Raymond and Frances Sojka of Lisle, Illinois; grandchildren and their spouses, Jill and Bradley Hathorn of Warners, Jeffrey and Wendy Fiello of Syracuse, Christopher and Karen Fiello of Manlius, Scott and Jennifer Fiello of Baldwinsville and John and Heidi Urciuoli of Manlius; great-grandchildren, Allison and Jacob Fiello, Jessica Fiello, Lindsay and Joseph Hathorn and Mary Elizabeth Fiello. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2006 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
