Fernand “Dewey” Duhamel, 86, of Camillus, passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Camillus for 50 years and retired from Inland Express. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed building many projects including furniture. Dewey was predeceased by his son, Louis; and daughter, Mary Ann McMahon. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Jean Paetow; daughters, Nancy Pizzuti of Liverpool, Alexina Galuppi of Las Vegas, NV and Cynthia Castiglia of Oswego; sons, Daniel of Syracuse and John of Camillus; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be no services. Dewey wished to donate his body to SUNY Health Science Center. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus.
