Eva Marie Waleski, 86, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Syracuse, she lived in Camillus and was a graduate of Assumption High School. Eva was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Camillus Seniors. She enjoyed luncheons with her girlfriends, trips to the casino, spending time in her flower garden and vacationing in Niagara Falls and Myrtle Beach but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Eva was predeceased by her husband, Edward Waleski on March 18, 2010. Surviving are her daughter, Tina (Tim) Moran of Onondaga Hill; sons, James (Sue) Waleski of Marcellus, Edward Waleski of Camillus, Paul Waleski of Liverpool, Bill Waleski of Romulus, Rich (Lisa Bidwell) Waleski of Camillus, Don (Ann) Waleski of West Monroe; seven grandchildren, Jim (Jen), Nicole, Christopher, Timmy, Michael, Melissa and Maya; four great-grandchildren, Sabreena, Sophia, Savanna and Jimmy. Relatives and friends may call Friday, August 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 22, at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Eva will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
