Erin Elizabeth Lawyer Ascioti

Erin Elizabeth Lawyer Ascioti, 37, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at home. Born in Cortland, she lived in the Syracuse area since 1980. Erin was a 1994 graduate of Cazenovia High School and received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland and Crouse Nursing School. An avid reader, she had a passion for animals and the elderly and enjoyed taking care of all of them. Erin was predeceased by her brother, Kevin Goodale. Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Michael; beautiful daughters, Caitlin, Meghan and Molly; parents, Tom and Kathy Lawyer of Syracuse; sisters, Tina Campbell of Cortland and Gina Tierney of Elmira; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, October 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, October 25 at The Parish of St.Charles-St.Ann, 417 So. Orchard Rd.
