Eric D. Maglisco

Eric D. Maglisco, 62, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. A resident of Syracuse since 1996, Eric was born in 1955 in New Kensington, PA and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School. Eric was an avid family man, brother, friend and father. He was a devoted sports fan, enthusiastically supporting the Pittsburgh Penguins and beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. A member of the Camillus Country Club, he loved golf and some of his most cherished memories came from the course with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Barbara; brother, Ernie (Nancye) Maglisco; sister, AnnaMarie (Dennis) Guarente; sons, Eric Jr., Dustin (Bailey), Michael and Anthony; stepdaughter, Katrina; grandchildren, Olivia, Maddox and Austin; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 23 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Camillus. Burial will be private.
