Emily L. (Martindale) Whiting, 37, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at home. Born and raised in Binghamton, she settled in Camillus in 2020. A 2004 graduate of Chenango Valley High School, Emily attended the New England Culinary Institute and was employed as a pastry chef at The Century Club. She enjoyed art and baking but most of all, she loved her dog and spending time with her husband, Anthony, and their daughter, Tillie.
Emily was predeceased by her father, Craig Martindale; and uncle, David Martindale.
Surviving are her husband, Anthony Whiting; daughter, Tillie; mother, Melissa (Stanley Jr.) Cooper of Greene; sisters, Vanessa Brice of Binghamton, and Elizabeth Roser of Greene; brothers, Jack Thibodeau Jr. of Texas, and Alex (Kaylin) Csigi of Tennessee; mother-in-law, Laurie Whiting of Camillus; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, April 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
