Elzene "Becky" Sardino
January 30, 1924 — May 26, 2017
Elzene “Becky” Sardino, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 93, of Camillus, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Clinton, MO, she grew up in Kansas City. Becky moved to New York when she was 18 and lived in Syracuse since 1942. She was employed with Chase Manhattan Bank and retired in 1988. An avid gardener and talented artist, Becky was a member of the North Syracuse Art Guild.
Surviving are her daughters, Lorene (Tom) Gulgert, Marcia Richards, and Cynthia (Steve) Paquette, all of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, May 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 100 Metropolitan Park Dr., Suite 400, Liverpool, NY 13088.
