Ellen Klementowski Silkworth, 65, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. Ellen was employed by Niland Building Services as a custodian and later stayed home to raise her family. She was a communicant of St. Lucy’s Church and former member of the Gondaliya Club. She enjoyed bird watching and loved to spend time with her family.
Ellen was predeceased by her parents, Vincent J. and Maureen Klementowski.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Arnold Charles; sons, Arnold Anthony (Melisa) of Minoa, Daniel (Megan) and Brendon, both of Syracuse; daughters, Mary (William) Smith of Syracuse and Kathryn (Anthony) Virgadamo of Marcellus; brothers, Peter (Mary Beth) Klementowski, Vincent (Kathy) Klementowski, Jr., and Tim (Kathy) Klementowski, all of Syracuse; sister, Mary Pat Maroney of Syracuse; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Lucy’s Church.
