Ellen Anne Mickle

Ellen A. Mickle, 72, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. Born in Jamaica, NY, she lived in South Hauppauge, Long Island and Binghamton before moving to the Syracuse area in 1982.

Ellen retired in 2006 from Americu Credit Union and previously worked at M&T Bank and Wegmans. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.

In 1980, Ellen received the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award. She was very proud of her three sons and three grandsons who became Eagle Scouts.

Ellen is survived by Worth, her husband of 52 years; her cat, Hank; daughter, Susan (Randolph) Conrad of Camillus; sons, Charles (Julie) of Camillus, Paul (Sandra) of Weedsport and Matthew (Stacey) of Schenectady; and nine grandchildren,

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, August 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
