Elizabeth Kenney Salvetti, 97, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born and raised in Jordan, she lived in Solvay before moving to Camillus in 1986. She was a graduate of Jordan High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing. Elizabeth retired in 1989 after 20 years with St. Joseph's Hospital and was a member of its alumni. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Elizabeth loved life and cherished the times spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing Farkle and her favorite saying was "Whoopie." Elizabeth was predeceased by her sister, Mary Kenney; and brother, Laurence Kenney. Surviving are her daughters, JoAnn (Donald) McCoy of Syracuse, Jeanne (Ed) Mitchell of Warners and Kathleen Sucharski of Camillus; sons, Edward (Elaine) Salvetti of Fulton and Ronald (Mary Ellen) Salvetti of Camillus; sister, Clara Kenney of Cicero; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, February 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 29 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Elizabeth will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles.
