Elizabeth J. Beauchamp, 84, of Fairmount, died Friday, April 18, 2008 in Fairfield, Connecticut. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was born on Wednesday, November 21, 1923 and was the daughter of Herman Pilger and Lila Wilson Pilger. She was a graduate of North High School. Elizabeth was employed by Merchants National Bank for approximately 10 years. She was a charter member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Camillus and member of St. Michael's Altar Guild. She was also a member of the Fairmount Fire Dept. Ladies' Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower gardening and home decorating. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Donald; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Beauchamp of Trumbull, Connecticut and Neal and Rebecca Beauchamp of Syracuse; sister, Marie Kuss of Syracuse; grandchildren, Tom (Megan) Beauchamp of Scotia, Ashley Beauchamp of Scotia, Amy (Stephen) Alfano of Stratford, Connecticut, and Nicole Santorelli of Chandler, Arizona; great-grandchildren, Grace and Paige Beauchamp and Anthony and Christopher Alfano; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 5108 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Janet Fechner-Pelletier and Rev. Kenneth C. Heuermann officiating. Friends may call Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 5108 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
