Elizabeth “Betty” A. Jarrett, 93, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she lived in Camillus since 1961 and was a graduate of North High School. Betty worked at Crouse Hinds during WW II and later with Syracuse China for three years. She was a member of Fairmount Community Church United Church of Christ and the Lydia Circle. She was a SU basketball fan and also enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends Betty was predeceased by her husband, Lyle, in 2002; and son, Robert, in 1987. Surviving are her sons, Douglas (Elizabeth) Jarrett of The Villages, FL and James (Lori) Jarrett of Camillus; grandchildren, Norman Wanzer of Cortland, Nick Jarrett of New London, CT, Rhea (Michael) Placito-Ceglio of San Jose, CA and Jeffrey (Beth) Jarrett of Indiana; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Allison Jarrett. The family would like to thank the enriched living section of the Nottingham for all their wonderful care and support. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 23 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
