Eleanor Joan Winkelman, 78, of Marcellus, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born in Little Falls, she moved to the Syracuse area when she was 13 years old. Eleanor was a graduate of West Genesee High School and employed with Welch Allyn for over 25 years. She enjoyed cruising in her 1923 T-bucket and was a member of the Good Ole Boys Car Club. Eleanor also enjoyed sewing and crafting, but above all, loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Josephine; sister, Patricia Wells; and brother, Andy Winkelman.
Surviving are her children, Michele (George) Molchanoff of Cleveland, Paul Ballard of Cortland, Ann Marie (Douglas Volcko) Ballard of Marcellus and Cindy (David) Massett of Rome; sister, Monica Eades of Sennett; grandchildren, Shaun (Nicole) Molchanoff and Katrina, Madelyn and Brandon Massett; and several nephews and cousins.
Services will be private. Eleanor will be laid to rest in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
