Eleanor Elizabeth (Miller) Albiker

Eleanor Elizabeth (Miller) Albiker, 83, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2022 in Illinois. She was born in Rochester, NY to Marcus Miller and Mary (Altemari) Miller. Eleanor attended West High School and was co-captain of the cheerleading squad. She graduated from Alfred State College, where she met her future husband, Frederick “Fritz” P. Albiker. After moving to Syracuse, Eleanor devoted her life to caring for her family. She was a great collector and had a knack for decorating and gardening. Eleanor was a skilled quilter and a computer whiz who had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She had strong faith and felt God’s presence and comfort.

Eleanor is pre-deceased by her grandchild, Kaylee Szymanoski.

She is survived by her sons, Frederick “Fritz” J. (Mary Ellen) Albiker and Brent (Donna) Albiker; daughter, Jill Albiker (Tom) Shannon; sister, Maryann Love; brothers, Marcus (Joyce) Miller and Jack (Patricia) Miller; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
