Eleanor A. DeSantis Jerome, 104, of Fairmount, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Born in Greece, NY and raised in Baldwinsville, she lived most of her life in Solvay before retiring to Florida. Eleanor retired from Iroquois China Co. after 25 years and was a former member of Eastern Star in Solvay. She enjoyed singing, crocheting, was a great cook and loved fishing with her son, Richard.
The family would like to thank the 4th floor nurses and staff at Loretto for the loving care given to Eleanor.
Eleanor was predeceased by her first husband, John DeSantis; second husband, Nicholas Jerome; three sisters; and three brothers.
Surviving are her children, Carol Westfall and Richard DeSantis, both of Fairmount; brother, James Perrin of Central Square; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, November 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
