Edward W. Graveline II, 84, of Camillus, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Ogdensburg, he lived in the Syracuse area since the age of nine. Ed served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1948-1952. In 1993, he retired after 17 years with the Miller Brewing Co. in Fulton and was previously employed by GE for 23 years. A communicant of Holy Family Church, Ed was very active in the parish. He was a member of the Solvay Tigers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. Ed was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Recuparo, in 2014. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, the former Mary Rimando; sons, Edward (Maria) and David (Laura); daughters, Pamela (Edward Slowik) Goult and Sandra (John) Narusky; brother, Gilbert (Yvonne) Graveline; grandchildren, Edward, Victoria, Heather and Kyle, and Reginald, Anthony, Melissa and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, November 2 in Holy Family Church. Ed will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
