Edward Ted Griffith, 73, of Camillus, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Geneva on Tuesday, January 30, 1934, he was the son of John Thomas Griffith and Genevieve Kerrigan Griffith. He lived in Camillus for 45 years. He was an Army veteran. Ted was employed for 30 years with the Treasury Dept. as a national bank examiner. Upon retiring, he worked for several local banks as a consultant. Ted was an avid roller blader and ice skater. He also loved to shoot hoops. He was a huge train enthusiast and collector. Ted was a man of profound faith who absolutely adored his five grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Addie Schneider; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dennis Bethmann of W. Henrietta; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Judy Griffith of Syracuse and Robert Griffith of Verona; grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Bethmann and Jack, Jenna and Julia Griffith.
