Edward John Lang, 80, of Camillus, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at home. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 2, 1927, he was the son of Edward Francis Lang and Gertrude Elizabeth Mahar Lang. He lived in Camillus for 50 years and was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary and CCBI. Ed was a salesman for Johnston's Linens for 20 years, retiring in 1991. He was also formerly employed by Office Max for 11 years. He was former president of Sherwood Knolls Homeowners Association. He enjoyed hunting. Ed was predeceased by his brother, Richard. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Florence (Kreitzer) Lang; daughters, Catherine Lang of Tully and Carol Knapp of Baldwinsville; son, Robert Lang of Rochester; brothers, Raymond, Bernard and Walter; granddaughters, Stefanie Lang, Lindsay and Rachel Knapp; great-granddaughters, Liana and Ciara Reyes; aunt, Genevieve Dwyer and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
