Edward G. "Jerry" Caldwell, 60, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Central Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Wellsville, NY, he lived in Camillus since 2000. Jerry was a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a B.S in Accounting and a graduate of SUNY Binghamton with a B.A. in Economics. He was an accountant with the NYS Department of Health In Albany. He was an Army veteran. A history buff, he also had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed keeping journals and cooking. A very selfless person, he was also generous and always looking to help others. Jerry was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy, in 2000. Surviving are his father, Rev. Fr. Edward F. Caldwell of Camillus; sisters, Joyanne O'Donnell of Camillus and Meredee (Joe Colomb) Caldwell of Watertown; brother, Ronald Caldwell of Syracuse; and nieces and nephews, Brody and Cailin O'Donnell, and Joshua and Emily Caldwell. The family would like to thank the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Central Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for the fine care they provided for Jerry. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, September 5 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
