Dorothy "Peach" Clement LeBlanc

Dorothy "Peach" Clement LeBlanc, 66, of Hilton Head, SC, formerly of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016. Born in Tupper Lake, she lived in the Tupper Lake area for 20 years and lived in Baldwinsville before retiring to Hilton Head, SC. She was a graduate of Long Lake Central School and Paul Smith's College. Dorothy received her LPN from the BOCES Nursing Program and was employed with the Department of Social Services as an income maintenance worker. A woman of unwavering faith, Dorothy was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and sang with the choir. She loved walking on the beach, flying kites, singing and dancing but above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, sitting down and "telling some lies." Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter, Carolyn Gayle Clement, in 1978; and brothers, Billy, Joe and Paul LeBlanc. Surviving are her daughters, Hilarie (Fatah) Sadoun of Mecca, Celeste Maryse Ryan of Westvale and Sara Louise (Greg) Holden of Asheboro, NC; son, John David Clement of Baldwinsville; "Mamie's" grandchildren, Amanda Marie, Adrien Lynn (Dan), Avery Ann, Hannah Rose, Isaiah Gregory, Jacquie Peach, Youcef, Fatima, Ayoub, Yaqoub, Akram and Umayma; brother, Hilary (Patti) LeBlanc of Ballston Spa; sister, Jacqueline Bragg of Whitesboro; and many BELOVED nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, May 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St. Camillus. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Dorothy will be brought home to her beautiful Adirondack Mountains at a later date for a private burial.
