Dorothy L. Baker, 89, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at University Hospital. Born in Mahanoy City, PA, she was a Camillus resident for over 60 years. A graduate of East Stroudsburg State Teachers College and SU, Dorothy was an educator for over 30 years, retiring from the Jordan-Elbridge School District. She was a member of the Orchard Village Assoc. and loved ballroom dancing, bowling and playing croquet.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert.
Surviving are her daughters, Ann (Kurt Wossner) Baker Cross of Cicero and Jane (Tom) Nadolski of Webster; son, Timothy (Kelly) Baker of Elbridge; grandchildren, Jennette Nadolski, Stephen (Amy) Nadolski and Alexis and Libby Baker; and great-grandson, Cayden Nadolski.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, January 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 West Genesee St., Camillus. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
