Dorothy Bilecki Gleason, 84, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Camillus since 1957 and was a graduate of Blodgett Vocational High School. Dorothy retired in 1994 after 14 years with Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital and was formerly employed with Brown-Lipe Chapin and Bristol Labs. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She loved cats, especially her own three and also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She donated her afghans to Project Linus. Dorothy was predeceased by her brothers, Peter and Joseph. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, George R.; sons, Patrick (Brigitte) of Syracuse, George P. of Trumansburg, Dennis of Bedford, TX, and John of Camillus; sister, Wanda LaDuke of Palm Coast, FL; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 p.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Camillus.
