Doris Mae Donahue, 85, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Honesdale, PA, she was a lifetime resident of the Camillus area and a 1945 graduate of Most Holy Rosary. She was a teacher's aide with the West Genesee Central School District and previously worked for Bell Telephone. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Doris loved spending time with her family and was a big supporter and spectator of all the family sports events. She also loved to travel and enjoyed cross-stitch, gardening and was very active with the Terrytown Garden Club. Doris was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna Condon; sisters and brothers, Marie, Kate, Jimmy, Jack and Don Condon. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Louis; daughter, Mary Beth (Rich) Preall of Saranac Lake; sons, Michael (Patti) of Baldwinsville, Martin, Kevin (Laurie), and Thomas (Mary), all of Camillus, and Patrick (Penny) of Warners; sister, Anne (Skip) Couse of Brownville; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Monday, June 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 18 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Doris will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
