Donna A. Gutchess

Donna A. Gutchess, 83, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at home. Born and raised in Tully, she moved to Camillus in 1954. Donna ran the fish department at Morey's Cider Mill for many years and was known for baking pastries and desserts at the Bellevue Country Club, where she retired. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and loved her beagle, Toby. Donna was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a compassionate, kind woman who was loving and had a great sense of humor.

Donna was predeceased by her sister, Helen Estey; and brother, June-boy.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Jack; children, Theresa (Richard) Canestrare, Cynthia (Dave) Cadieux-Lautenslager, Nancy (Mike) Bandera, James Gutchess and Gerald (Kris) Gutchess; sisters, Betty Baldwin, Linda Parker and Eileen Amidon; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Jeffrey, Cory, Sarah, Karley and Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Colin, Avery and Connor.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, December 6 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
