Donald “Don” F. Adams, 79, of Camillus, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Crouse Hospital. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a 1957 graduate of Assumption Academy. Don started his career at Crouse-Hinds and retired from Welch Allyn in 1999 after 30 years. He loved reading, photography, traveling and spending time with family at their cottage on Fair Haven Bay. Don coached youth hockey and soccer and loved to sail and collect boats.
Don was predeceased by his parents, George and Matilda.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, the former Margaret “Peg” Blais; daughter, Karen (Michael) Lesko; sons, Eric and Paul; grandchildren, Samantha (Megan) Adams, Cameron (Taylor Hole) Adams, Matthew Adams, Nathaniel and Elizabeth Flynn and Sullivan and Gabriel Lesko; great-grandchildren, Mia and Nathaniel Flynn; niece, Donna (Bucky) Springer; and several cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, December 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
