Donald Peter Kehoskie

August 14, 1949 — January 9, 2014

Donald Peter Kehoskie, 64, of Memphis, passed away at home with his girls by his side Thursday evening, January 9, 2014. He was raised on a family farm in Throop and lived in the Elbridge-Memphis area since 1977. Donald graduated from Port Byron High School in 1967 and Auburn Community College in 1970. He retired in 2010 from the NYS Dept. of Transportation after 34 years and served as the regional coordinator for many years for the Public Employees Federation. An outdoorsman, he was an avid sports enthusiast, and particularly enjoyed the game of golf. He especially enjoyed teaching his grandson, Brody, the game of golf, and his granddaughter, Grace, how to swim. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Donald was predeceased by his father, Peter Kehoskie Jr., in 2010. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, the former Victoria Marie Cornell; daughters, Sarah Marie Kehoskie (and Bill Ryan) of Auburn and Amanda Beth Kehoskie of Keene, NH; mother, Blanche A. Kehoskie; grandchildren, Brody James, Grace Victoria and William "Billy" Patrick Ryan, all of Auburn. A celebration of Don’s life took place Saturday, January 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Jordan-Elbridge Community Center located on Route 31 in Jordan. Please share condolences at www.BuranichFH.com
