Donald Mills Bloeser, 84, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Community General Hospital. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, September 23, 1925, he was the son of Carl Bloeser and Mildred Mills Bloeser. He lived in Camillus for 40 years. Donald was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was employed for many years with Chrysler Corp. and also taught defensive driving. An avid reader, Donald also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Irene Lascek; son Gary; grandson, Chad Hebert; and stepson, Gregory Ross. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Carol; daughter, Lora Bloeser of Baldwinsville; stepsons, Anthony Ross of Camillus and Michael Ross of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Gregory LeStrange officiating. Relatives and friends may call Monday, April 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Donald will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
