Dianne F. (Crossett) Korrigan

Dianne F. (Crossett) Korrigan, 79, of Camillus, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at home. Born in Syracuse, she lived most of her life in Warners and Camillus. Dianne was in the first graduating class of West Genesee High School in 1956, earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 1960 and master's degree from SUNY Cortland. She was a physical education teacher with Solvay Union Free School for 36 years before retiring in 2001 and previously worked for Westhill Golf Course for 20 years. Dianne enjoyed bowling, quilt making, traveling and golfing. She made a hole in one at the Westhill Golf Course on hole #17 on her birthday in 2005. She was a member and first vice president of the Women's Bowling Association and was in the Syracuse and National Bowling Hall of Fame.

Dianne was predeceased by her sisters, Susanne Luke and Judy Ratford; and brothers, William Crossett III, Robert Crossett and Aurther Crossett.

Surviving are her daughters, Pam Korrigan of Rome and Jill Korrigan of Camillus; son, Brian (Elsa) Korrigan of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren, Alexis, Cynthia, Nicholas and Nathan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special thank you to her niece for all of her help, Rosemarie Crossett Nelson.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 4 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
