Diana R. Teffar

Diana R. Teffar, 87, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in West Springfield, MA, she was a graduate of William H. Hall High School and lived in Camillus since 1976. Diana retired in 1991 after 21 years with Onondaga County Department of Social Services. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Chapter 30. Diana was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Walter, in 2001; and son-in-law, Richard Robinson, in 2009. Surviving are her daughter, Diane Robinson of West Palm Beach, FL; son, Walter (Susan) of Manlius; sister, Beverly Outlaw of Orange City, FL; grandson, Daniel Teffar of Manlius; and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Diana’s memory to the Humane Assoc. of CNY, Inc., 4915 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088.
