Deborah J. Thompson, 68, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at home. Born in Glens Falls, she was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. She was a loan officer for Geddes Federal Savings and Loan Association and previously worked for Onbank. Debbie enjoyed reading, animals, especially her cats, and was an avid NY Yankees fan. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Muriel Thompson; and sister, Maureen Mabee.
Surviving are her sons, James Coleman of Syracuse, Stephen (Amy) Coleman of Fort Worth, TX and Ryan Holtsbery of Syracuse; daughter-in-law, Jody Coleman of Lyncourt; grandchildren, Brandon, Jared, Jacob and Blake; brother, Richard (Peggy) of Vienna, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A memorial service will follow at noon. Burial will be private.
