He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Cortland and was a US Navy veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. David retired from the NY Telephone Company/Verizon after 30 years. He was a man of great Catholic faith who loved St. Mary’s Church in Cortland, where he was a member of the choir. He then belonged to Holy Family Church after moving to Camillus. David loved his faith, family and being a husband, father and grandfather. David had a cottage on Owasco Lake for 40 years, where he enjoyed boating, fishing, sailing, hunting and golfing with his grandson. An avid sports fan, he loved football and basketball. In David’s younger years at St. Mary’s, he was a wonderful basketball player. He had a passion for music and played the piano and guitar. Christmas was a beautiful time for him, as he enjoyed singing and dancing with his beloved family. Family time was his pride and joy. David was the most compassionate husband, father, grandfather and to all who loved him.
