David "Volodya" Krokis

February 13, 1931 — March 21, 2017

David "Volodya" Krokis, 86, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Ukraine, he moved to the U.S. in 2002. David was a pastor for over 20 years and was a member of First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, walking, gardening and reading the Bible, but above all, loved spending time with his family.

David was predeceased by his sister; and two brothers.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Yekaterina; daughters, Oksana (Alexander) Buko of Camillus, Maria (Pavel) Dashkevich of Baldwinsville and Lusya (Anatoliy) Koren of London, Ontario; sons, Vladimir (Oksana) of Lviv, Ukraine, Vassili (Elizabeth) of North Port, FL and Peter (Yelena) of Liverpool; brother, Yaroslav of Lviv, Ukraine; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

First service will be Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd.

Second service will be Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m. at the church. David will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
